Thirteen LKA members represented England at the UK Karate Grand Slam event held in Chesterfield.
This competition saw English, Scottish, Welsh, Irish and Northern Irish squad members compete against each other in individual and team events under full international rules.
Zoe Starr, Natasha Balyckyi and David Wright represented the England Seniors. Nick Smith, Jordon Probst, Ryan Tucker, Melissa Finlay, Andrew Lister, Stephen Brown, James Brown, Tom Little, Mark Hardy and Josephine Fishkin represent the England Juniors.
Stephen Brown also came away with two placings taking 3rd in the Cadet Mens Kumite and 1st along with Jordon Probst in the Cadet Mens England Team.
Ryan Tucker had a great day taking 3rd in the Junior Mens Kumite and leading the Junior Mens England Kumite team to victory.
Natasha Balycki came 3rd in the Senior Ladies Kata and James Brown 3rd in the 14-15 Years Kumite.
